Rocker Courtney Love has lost her bid to keep the details of her court battle with lawyer Rhonda Holmes and her partners under wraps.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge denied a motion by Love’s attorneys to close the trial on Monday (06Jan14).
As a result, the proceedings of a lawsuit between the Hole singer and the California lawyer, who alleges the singer defamed her on Twitter and in an online interview, will be open to the public.
The trial is scheduled to begin next week (13Jan14).
Holmes and her firm Gordon & Holmes represented Love from December 2008 to May 2009.
