A new Pixies song 'Bagboy' debuted on the legendary band's official website on Friday morning (June 28, 2012) following its first play on Shaun Keaveny's BBC6 Music radio show. It is the group's first new material for over 10 years.

Bagboy is signature Pixies and features Frank Black yelling the chorus in typically shouty style. Though the song garnered almost universal acclaim on Twitter, many UK fans couldn't help but make the comparison between Frank's vocals and the voice of Brian Badonde, the charlatan art critic on Channel 4's Facejacker.

Bagboy comes just one week after Pixies bassist Kim Deal left the band after 25 years. The founding member has been focusing on a Breeders reunion to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut record Last Splash.

"We are sad to say that Kim Deal has decided to leave the Pixies. We are very proud to have worked with her on and off over the last 25 years. Despite her decision to move on, we will always consider her a member of the Pixies, and her place will always be here for her. We wish her all the best," said a statement from the group.
