Yet another addition to the overcrowded stable of indie-rock bands where Kaiser Chiefs and (We are Scientists) reign supreme. Brown Boxes has a slightly ironic fifties feel to it, but other than that, it seems a strange choice for a single. There's no obvious hook, and its moderate pace means it's unlikely to be filling dance floors in the students' union.
