One year on, Walker's family and friends still find it hard to deal with the loss.
It’s been a year since the death of Paul Walker. With all the bad stuff that happened in 2014, the actor’s death last winter sort of fell behind in newsworthiness, but he is constantly in the thoughts and prayers of his family – both his real one and his onscreen one.
A year later, life without the beloved son, father and friend hasn't gotten any easier.
Recently, Paul's father, Paul Walker III, told Entertainment Tonight's Nancy O'Dell, "I'm missing him more now, the last month. It's not getting any better for me."
He also said he finds comfort from the fans. He told ET about going back to the scene of the fatal collision. "One little girl was there, and she goes, 'Are you Paul's dad?' Can I give you a hug?'" he told O'Dell.
There was no organized tribute, but Walker’s co-stars also remembered him, each in their own way. Michelle Rodriguez changed her background on Twitter to a picture of Paul with angel wings and shared an emotional message.
I love you Paul. Your living in the hearts of all who love you for sure. Sending mad love out to Heaven @SupportROWW pic.twitter.com/q9qDx8PXob

Vin Diesel, who has said on multiple occasions that he loved Walker like a brother, shared an extended, emotional message on facebook, along with a picture of the late actor visiting Diesel’s daughter. The message read: “He was a part of so much in my life... long personal talks with my mother or babysitting the Alpha Angel... he took a certain pride in being uncle Pablo... after all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day she was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilicle cord.
He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood... that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life...
A year ago today... a year of mourning... and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo...”
Walker’s two brothers are also mourning the loss. Younger brother Cody, 26, told the New York Daily News on Wednesday, "I am so lucky to have had him as a big brother."

Cody also said that he learned an important lesson from his brother, "Remember that no matter how cool you think you may be, you're not cool enough to look down on anyone ... ever."
