Jordin Sparks is struggling to celebrate her new track hitting the top of the U.S. dance charts - because she can't laugh or move after a recent operation to remove her appendix.
The former American Idol winner was forced to scrap a gig in Australia on Sunday (22Nov09) after undergoing emergency surgery on Wednesday (18Nov09).
And despite her latest single S.O.S. (Let The Music Play) hitting the number one spot on America's Billboard Dance Chart, the singer is finding it hard to raise a smile.
On her Twitter.com page, she writes, "I'm in a great mood except I can't laugh or cough! Ergh. Rest & movie time."
