Giuliana Rancic has confessed she cried ''tears of joy'' following her final night as co-host of E! News yesterday (10.08.15).
Giuliana Rancic cried ''tears of joy'' following her final appearance on E! News last night (10.08.15).
The 40-year-old presenter signed off as one of the hosts of the popular entertainment news show after 14 years and has admitted saying goodbye was both sad and exciting.
She told People magazine: ''I knew this day would be bittersweet but I was not prepared for how incredibly special it would be.
''I am incredibly lucky to have worked side-by-side with some of the most talented and kindest people in the business who gave me the most loving send-off I could have ever hoped for. I cried tears of joy but today feels like my graduation day and I can't wait to write my next chapter.''
Although Giuliana has chosen to quit E! News, she will continue to host 'Live from the Red Carpet' and 'Fashion Police' while Maria Menounos has been drafted in as her replacement, joining co-hosts Terrence Jenkins, Jason Kennedy and Cat Saddler.
Giuliana's final show included a blooper reel of her funniest on-screen moments as well as some of her best interviews during her time on the show.
The brunette beauty - who has two-year-old son Edward with husband Bill Rancic - came under fire earlier this year after she was accused of making racist comments about Zendaya's hair during a segment on 'Fashion Police'.
And although the controversy led to co-hosts Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin's decisions to step down from the show, Giuliana is set to return alongside Brad Goreski and the late Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa next month.
