Cheyenne Jackson is reportedly not upset that his sex tape has appeared online.

The 'Glee' actor's eyes and tattoos are seemingly visible on the 52-second clip - which first surfaced in September but went viral yesterday (02.12.13) - and one of his friends confirmed he is the man in the clip, but isn't worried about it going public as it could be good publicity for his latest album 'I'm Blue, Skies'.

The pal added to the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column: ''Let's just say he's not doing anything to stop the presses over the tape. It can only help.''

The gay star split from husband Monte Lapke - a physicist who he dated for 13 years - in July after two years of marriage and though their separation seemed amicable, the friend insisted things were not so pleasant in private.

The friend said: ''The divorce moved along amicably in private, but was not friendly behind the scenes. They were both angry.''

And Cheyenne - who is now dating Jason Landau - appeared to reference the split during his show at the Birdland Jazz Club in New York on Sunday (01.12.13), calling 2013 the ''most difficult year of my life'' and later talking about how he had struggled with drugs and alcohol ''for 20 years''.

The 38-year-old star was asked about his sex tape by the newspaper during a Q&A and CD signing in New York yesterday (02.12.13), but just shook his head and smiled in response.
