Alexander Wang has designed a limited edition range of headphones and speakers for Beats by Dr. Dre.
Alexander Wang has collaborated with Beats by Dr. Dre.
The designer is launching a limited edition range of headphones and speakers for the rapper, which go on sale on December 16.
The custom line features a pair of headphones and speakers, priced at £275 and £183 respectively, with the earbuds coming in at a whopping £80, WWD is reporting.
Wang explained his motivation behind the collaboration by saying: ''I have always looked to music and musicians for inspiration and as collaborators because there is such a purity to their talent. Different types of music can also transform how you interpret or understand afashion show, or film. It's creating a story and translating a message.''
The collection features the Balenciaga creative director's signature gold accents and black finishes.
Wang said: ''The limited-edition collection for Beats by Dr. Dre includes my favorite headphones and portable speaker. For this collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, it felt right and a natural choice for me to give the Beats Studio headphones, Beats Pill and Urbeats earbuds a clean, minimal look with a luxe sensibility.''
