Yes Boss More Or Less / They Think It's All Over Single

If there's one thing that the truly execrable Streets should be congratulated for it's that they have encouraged more artists to combine their love of hip hop and underground rock music into something more than a big-shorted shoutfest.

Leeds duo Yes Boss are one of the finest examples. If their debut single was just a little too close to the bone for your average indie disco loving savvy, then this double a-side really hits the g-spot, in more ways than one.

'More Or Less' sounds like an outtake from MC Normski's broom cupboard but flip it over to the wondrous 'They Think It's All Over' and the real anthem of this summer's World Cup is born. "He shoots, he scores!" proclaim the dual MCs as the story takes a darkly humorous twist, regaling the tale of one man sat downstairs watching Beckham play for his country while his best mate's upstairs doing the unthinkable to his wife.

Other advocates of this crossbred genre have strangely labelled it "grindie". We just prefer to call it good music, which might sound a little conservative to you but excites the pants off yours truly, yes sirree.
