The I'm a Thug hitmaker, real name Maurice Young, claims he has around $430,000 (£268,750) in assets, but has racked up debts amounting to $645,000 (£403,125).

In his Chapter 11 court filing, the Florida native reveals he owes $290,000 (£181,250) in back taxes to America's Internal Revenue Service, $280,000 (£175,000) for his first mortgage, and over $57,000 (£25,625) in unpaid child support to the mothers of his two kids, according to TMZ.com.

The papers also reveal Trick Daddy owns just $550 (£344)-worth of clothes and jewellery, despite still earning an estimated $14,500 (£9,063)-a-month from club concerts and music royalties.

Trick Daddy isn't the only rapper to face financial difficulties in recent months - 50 Cent famously filed for bankruptcy in July (15).
