Fact: The Horrors frontman Faris Badwan has teamed up with his brother, fellow singer Tarik, to launch their own record label called Raft Records. The company's first Ep is due for release next month (Feb15) and will feature music from four bands picked by the siblings.

Fact: British rockers The Horrors have rescheduled the five shows on their U.K. tour which were cancelled last month (Oct11) due to frontman Faris Badwan's throat problems. The gigs will now take place in January (12).

Fact: The Yeah Yeah Yeahs' track ZERO has been named the best song of 2009 by British music magazine NME. Rockers The Horrors claimed the honour for the year's best album with PRIMARY COLOURS.
