Gia Allemand's funeral will be held today (22nd August) in the midst of the investigation into her death. It will be the third memorial service for the late reality television contestant, this week.

Gia Allemand's memorial service was held yesterday (21st August) in Queens, New York. the bachelor star's funeral service will be held today, Thursday 22nd August, at Trinity Grace Church in Chelsea, New York. The funeral today will be the third service in memory of the late model this week, after the family memorial in Queens and a tribute in New Orleans on Saturday (18th August).

Close friends and family attended the Queens Memorial service where her body was laid in an open casket ceremony. On Saturday, the New Orleans service saw friends and colleagues pray for the late reality star and throw white flowers into the Mississippi river. The invitation to the New Orleans service read "please join us in prayer as we toss white flowers into the river to symbolize that our love and memory of her will continue to flow in our hearts." Around fifty friends attended the event.

Those attending the funeral service tomorrow will be a number of The Bachelor contestants who competed alongside Allemand. 

Allemand was found unconscious on Monday (12th August) by her boyfriend NBA player Ryan Anderson. She was rushed to hospital and placed on support in ICU. She had tried to kill herself, an attempt with proved successful, after she argued with her Anderson. According to reports in E!, Allemand told Anderson she loved him, a feeling he stated he did not reciprocate. It seems these were the last words Anderson said to his girlfriend. Allemand was taken off life support on Wednesday 14th August after "critical loss of brain and organ function."
