Taylor Kinney says Lady GaGa is planning ''a nice big wedding.''

The 'Chicago Fire' actor, who got engaged to the 'American Horror Story: Hotel' star last February after four years of dating, admits she taken full control of their upcoming nuptials, but claims they still haven't set a date.

He said: ''I could go to the Little White Chapel [in Las Vegas] but I think, well she's an Italian and that won't happen. She wants a nice big wedding so I'll let you know when we get a date.''

The couple want to keep most of the details surrounding their big day a secret but are rumoured to be preparing to tie the knot at the 'Bad Romance' hitmaker's $23 million mansion in Malibu, California in December.

Asked if the event will take place this year, Taylor casually told the 'Meredith Vieira Show': ''Sure.''

But he insisted: ''We don't have a date. It's kind of a logistics thing right now. It's just timing. She's really busy with the show, I'm busy with mine.''

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old actor is very proud of the blonde beauty, 29, for carving out a second career as an actress.

He said: ''I couldn't be more proud and she's excited and she's loving it.''
