Tara Reid is ''in love with being in love.''

The 39-year-old actress insists she enjoys being in a relationship because of the ''butterflies'' she gets and likes the idea of having strong feelings and desires for someone else.

Speaking in Australia's Cleo magazine, she said: ''I am in love with being in love. I love romance- who doesn't? It's amazing. In the beginning of a relationship, it's the best feeling in the world, those butterflies. I wish they could last forever. Even in relationships when it doesn't work out, you get sad. I have never given up on love and I'll never give up on romance.''

However, the 'Sharknado 2: The Second One' star claims she's not in a relationship at the moment and only has love for her pet pooch right now.

Asked if she's in love with anyone at the moment, Tara joked: ''No. Well, yes. With my dog, Portia!''

However, the blonde beauty, who has attracted attention for her alleged party girl lifestyle in the past, believes she's a faithful and dedicated human being.

She explained: ''[I'm] probably the most loyal girl you will ever meet in your life. I'm an amazing friend, an amazing sister, an amazing daughter. And a hard worker.''
