To his credit, Soulja Boy - aka DeAndre Cortez Way – issued a statement of apology. "It was a bad night and me and the flight staff didn't see eye to eye," the rapper later said to TMZ. "In hindsight, I'm extremely sorry for all inconvenience caused to the passengers and employees of the airline."

Celebrities getting kicked off flights for not obeying simple orders isn’t a new thing. Alec Baldwin was given his marching orders from an American Airlines flight in 2011 for refusing to turn off his cellphone. He wasn’t on a really important call, answering an emergency, no, he was fixated with a game of Words with Friends.
