Richard Gere has a new 'Pretty Woman' - Spanish actress Alejandra Silva.

The 65-year-old actor is in a relationship with the beautiful socialite who, at 32, is half his age. The couple have reportedly been dating for over a year.

The couple stepped out together for the first time on the red carpet at the 61st Annual Taormina Film Festival in Sicily last week and were also spotted on a yacht off the coast of Acitrezza on Monday (22.06.15) where they were pictured kissing and relaxing in the sun.

Speaking of the new relationship, a friend of Alejandra told Spain's ABC: ''They've been together for about a year but have been very private about it.

Alejandra lives between Manhattan and Madrid and Richard has already been to see her a few times.

They've managed to keep it hidden from the press but all their friends know.''

The blonde beauty is the daughter of businessman Ignacio Silva, the former financial vice president of football club Real Madrid and has one son with her ex-husband Govind Friedland, whose father is the billionaire mining tycoon Robert Martin Friedland.

Gere split from his actress wife Carey Lowell, 54, after 11 years together in September 2013.

The former couple - who have a 15-year-old son Homer together - are still finalising the details of their divorce due to disagreements over how the actor's $100 million fortune will be divided up.
