The actress and her actor husband Deep Katdare welcomed their first child together earlier this month (Oct15), and the proud mama confirmed the happy news to Us Weekly on Wednesday (21Oct15).

"We are beyond thrilled to introduce our daughter Ariya Eliana Katdare, to the world," Reshma says. "She came into our lives on October 6, 2015. We never knew that we could love anyone as much as we love our Ariya."

The actress says their daughter's name means "noble gift from God."

Shetty and Katdare met and fell in love onstage in hit Broadway show Bombay Dreams, and tied the knot in 2011.
