The 'Spectre' star is to be honoured with the prestigious accolade at the annual ceremony which takes place at the Grosvenor House hotel in London this Sunday (29.03.15).
Fiennes is being recognised for his three-decade spanning movie career and acclaimed performances in films such as 'Schindler's List' - for which he was nominated for an Oscar - 'The Reader', 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' and the Harry Potter franchise, in which he played Lord Voldemort.
The 52-year-old actor has also stepped behind the camera to direct on occasions, making his helming debut on 2011 film 'Coriolanus'.
Speaking about this year's recipient of the accolade, Empire magazine Editor-In-Chief Morgan Rees said: ''When you look at the body of work he has given us, both on screen and behind the camera, he has achieved so much. I can't think of anyone who deserves this award more. Ralph Fiennes is truly an Empire Legend.''

James Nesbitt will host this year's ceremony and 'The Imitation Game' leads the way with nominations with nods in six categories, Best Film, Best Director (Morten Tyldum), Best Actor (Benedict Cumberbatch), Best Actress (Keira Knightley), Best Thriller and Best British Film.
