Fact: British actors James McAvoy and Hugh Laurie are set to perform in a radio play series on BBC Radio 4 called Unmade Movies, featuring recreations of movie scripts which never made it to screen. James will star in Orson Welles' Heart of Darkness, and the former House star performs in Alfred Hitchcock's abandoned project The Blind Man. The series begins on 17 October (15).

Fact: Orson Welles' iconic film CITIZEN KANE, which was inspired by American newspaper magnate WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST, will have its first-ever screening at the Hearst Castle on 13 March (15). The showing, for just 50 fans, is part of the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival.
