Album Review
A diverse album from a band who list influences as wide-ranging as Nine Inch Nails, Massive Attack and The Doors. The thread that runs throughout is an irresistibly dark, electro beat that leads you from industrial rock anthems like the title track, to the ambient beauty of Within and on to Insanity, which would certainly find a place in many a tribal DJ set.
The confident blending of fuzzy dance beats and electric guitar makes this an album that's hard to pin down in terms of 'genre'. Melodic industrial? Alternative rock? Whatever you call it, it's extremely easy on the ear, with plenty of hooky, memorable choruses and strangely intriguing lyrics.
