Mollie King's first kiss was horribly awkward.

The Saturdays singer was taken aback when a boy ''pounced'' on her as an inexperienced teenager and wishes she could erase the sloppy smooch from her mind.

Asked what she'd like to erase from history, Mollie shuddered: ''The first boy I kissed, maybe that would be erased. It was so awkward, he just pounced on me. I'd erase that memory.''

The 'Gentleman' hitmaker had a similarly un-romantic experience the first time an old flame confessed his undying love for her, and wishes he had picked a more meaningful location for his declaration.

The 26-year-old blonde - who briefly dated Prince Harry - told Bliss magazine: ''The first time a boy told me he loved me, we were standing at a train station waiting for a train. That could have been a bit more romantic.''

Mollie was most recently romantically linked to pop producer Jordan Omley and she was previously in a relationship with male model David Gandy.
