After his latest violent incident, Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino is going to learn how to keep his explosive temper under control by taking 12 straight weeks of anger management classes as part of a deal to resolve his recent simple assault charges.

'The Situation' will take part in a three month-long program of anger management classes

The former 'Jersey Shore' star is facing criminal charges after getting involved in a "fist fight" with his own brother, Frank, at the brand new tanning salon, Boca Tanning Club, in New Jersey, which is a family-run business.

Although Sorrentino offered no plea deal, on Monday (July 28th) a judge at New Jersey's Middletown Township court did allow his punishment to be a three-month stint of anger management classes, but when completed the 31 year-old will have to reappear in front of the same judge.

No new court date was issued, and his assault case is still pending and remains unresolved.

Sorrentino was arrested on June 17th after local authorities responded to a 911 call claiming that a brawl had broken out around 2 p.m. at the tanning spot. The reality TV star, who reportedly only suffered minor injuries, was arrested for simple assault and later posted $500 bail.

This sibling rivalry began on Twitter and later escalated into a physical altercation when Sorrentino went to the salon to tell Frank he was fired from the family business. But it seems Mike's older brother was victorious in their fight as he was spotting sporting a nasty looking black-eye and a bandaged hand when leaving the police station.

Sorrentino insists everything between him and his brother is "all good"

However, despite the family drama Sorrentino reiterated to People Magazine that he and his family are "all good."

"No matter what happens, I love my family, and I've tried so hard to help them," he said. "They know that. It's tricky. People say, 'Don't get involved with business and family,' but at the end of the day it's the most rewarding thing you can do with your family."
