Lily Cole has become a mother.

The 27-year-old model has welcomed her first child, daughter Wylde Cole Ferreira, with her boyfriend Kwame Ferreira, she announced on Friday (11.09.15).

Lily shared the joyous news on Twitter, posting a sweet picture of baby Wylde reaching out to hold her infamous red hair.

Lily wrote: ''Delighted to say we had a little girl!''

On her personal website, the British beauty shared a special poem about the newborn.

She said: ''Born on the hottest day. Ordinary Extraordinary Witchcraft. Wilderness. Love beyond doubt. Love, a fact of life. Without fear or choice. Wylde Cole Ferreira. We have a little girl - YAY!''

Lily has been dating Kwame since 2012 and the couple announced their baby news in March.

At the time, she wrote: ''The first known impossible baby is being born!

''I met Kwame when I was in the process of developing Impossible and he offered the most profound gift, to help build the platform.

''After working together for a long time Kwame and I fell in love, and I am very happy to share our news that we are expecting our first child together...''
