Fact: Hip-hop stars Missy Elliott, LIL' KIM and Da Brat are set to reunite onstage at the Soul Train Awards next month (Nov14), 17 years after recording 1997 hit Not Tonight with New York radio DJ-turned-rapper Angie Martinez and the late Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes. The trio will join forces at the Orleans Arena prizegiving in Las Vegas on 7 November (14), but it won't be the only big reunion at the ceremony - R&B group Jodeci are also set to come together for the first time since 2006.

Fact: Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim were among the stars who made surprise appearances at the Hot 97 Summer Jam concert in New Jersey on Sunday (02Jun13). The Hero hitmaker joined R&B singer Miguel to perform their new collaboration #Beautiful, while rappers Minaj and Kim hit the stage with 2 Chainz and Fabolous, respectively. Other artists at the 20th annual event included Wu-Tang Clan, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky and Chris Brown.
