Leona Lewis has released a very festive video for her new single, 'One More Sleep,' from her just-released Christmas-themed album, Christmas, With Love. The pop singer and former winner of The X Factor can be seen frolicking with friends in the snow, cooking food, playing party games and having a food fight in the warm and festive video.

However, the joyous music video is underpinned by a tinge of sadness as Leona laments a lover, singing "I can't believe I ever let you go" over a motown-inspired beat. The 28 year-old star recruits her real-life friends and lover Dennis Jaunch together in the video for a Christmas party to remember. The star confirmed this detail herself by tweeting "It's heeeeere buns! So much fun shooting this video with all my lovely family and friends in it! #OneMoreSleepVideo" to herald her new music's arrival.

'One More Sleep' is the lead single from Leona's new album Christmas, With Love, released on the 29th November. Lewis' fourth studio album is filled with covers of favourite Christmas songs, including 'Winter Wonderland' and 'White Christmas,' as well as three original tracks, one of which is 'One More Sleep.'

The new album is the first recorded output from the 'Keep Bleeding' singer since she split from her management of seven years in pursuit of greater commercial success than her music has received of late. Speaking in the summer, Leona revealed how it was Simon Cowell's idea for her to record a Christmas album at this point in her career. "Simon is still very much involved in my career and helps me out. He came up with the Christmas album idea, and we both kind of felt it was the right time to go ahead with it," she said to the London Evening Standard.

She continued: "I'm pretty excited about it as I've never done anything like this before. There are proper Motown, soulful songs that I can really just enjoy. It's so musical and I'm getting back to what I love doing. This time, I'm going into the studio and doing a Christmas album, but I'm also feeling my way around and seeing what I want to do for my next studio album. It's quite nice, free and organic."
