Lance Bass wants to start a family with new husband Michael Turchin within the next few years.
Lance Bass ''definitely'' wants to have children.
The former 'Nsync singer married Michael Turchin in December and he and his husband are planning to start a family in the next few years.
Lance said: ''We definitely want a family.
''That's one of the reasons we wanted to commit to each other. I'd say in the next two or three years we're going to start that family.''
And the 35-year-old star thinks his artist spouse will be a great parent.
He added to People magazine: ''I can't wait, because I know my husband's going to be the best dad ever.
''He's just so sweet and understanding, and just loves. His heart is so big, and just the way he is with my dogs I can just tell how amazing a father he's going to be. He's the type that's like, 'I don't want to go out tonight. I want to stay in with the dogs tonight.' When we came back from our honeymoon ... it was like all he wanted to do was just get home to the pets.''
Though the couple have felt married for some time, they feel legally tying the knot has given their relationship more ''validation''.
Lance said: ''Newlywed life has been amazing but we feel like we were married before, because we had been living together for over three years.
''I think it's [different], really, because of how people treat you ... It feels like there's validation in your relationship.''
