Kimberley Walsh wants her son to have a playdate with Nadine Coyle's daughter

The 33-year-old singer hasn't seen her former bandmate since Girls Aloud split two years ago but she is keen for her 11-month-old son Bobby to be friends with the Irish star's little girl, 18-month-old Anaiya.

She said: ''I've not seen Nadine since Girls Aloud split, but I'd love Bobby and her baby, Anaiya, to have a play date.''

Although she hasn't been in touch with Nadine - who now lives in the California - Kimberley has remained close friends with Nicola Roberts and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and the trio are in constant contact.

She added: ''I know Nicola and Cheryl inside out - we're really lucky.

''We have a group WhatsApp chat and I wake up to 50 messages from them talking about the Kardashians.''

And though she doesn't see Sarah Harding - who recently split from her boyfriend Jason - very often, the pair are still in touch.

She told Closer magazine: ''Sarah has had tough times but she's in a good place. She called recently and we chatted for an hour.''
