After seeing the image for the first time, singer O'Connor took to her Facebook page on Tuesday (14Jul15) to repost the image, and blasted editors of Rolling Stone for putting a reality TV star on their cover.

She added the caption, "What is this c**t doing on the cover of Rolling Stone? Music has officially died. Who knew it would be Rolling Stone that murdered it? (The X Factor bosses) Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh can no longer be expected to take all the blame. Bob Dylan must be f**king horrified."

This isn't the first time O'Connor has stirred up controversy - last year (14) she accused Miley Cyrus of contributing to the sexualisation of young girls with her saucy music videos and revealing stage costumes and dubbed Lady Gaga a bad influence on young music fans.
