Kim Kardashian sat in front of a room full of techies on Monday and gave them all a little lesson in utilising social media.
With a mobile game app that is said to be worth nearly $200 million and over 24.8 million Twitter followers, it’s safe to say that Kim Kardashian knows how to get the most out of mobile technology. So at the Code Mobile Conference on Monday, the reality star imparted a little bit of her mobile knowledge on the tech suits, including naming her favourite app and clearing up those 'paid to tweet' rumours.
Kim was speaking at the Code Mobile Conference on Monday
Speaking on onstage to Re/code’s Kara Swisher, Kim named Instagram has her favourite app and admitted she wasn't yet a Snapchat user. "I’m loving Instagram," she said. "I think you can be really creative, and a little more intimate. It has more texture than just words, obviously.” Later Kim added that her “little sisters” use Snapchat but she just doesn't have the time.
However as creative as you can be on Instagram, there is also an art to using the photo sharing app. “ I have a three-image rule, in the same setting,” Kim explained. Adding, ”I try not to do more than three. It over-saturates my feed.”

The reality star also said that she does all of her own social media posting and seemed shocked that other celebrities might have people employed to do this for them.
However anyone who believes the rumours that Kim is paid $10,000 per tweet are sorely mistaken. “I would have been tweeting every two seconds if it was true," she said.
As for an average day as Kim Kardashian, well it starts at 6am with an early gym session, then North West is woken up and fed and the rest of the day is spent filming until 8 or 9pm, "That’s every single day, six days a week, for five months straight while we’re filming," said Kim. Adding, "I don’t think reality TV gets the respect it deserves.”

But when Swisher described Kim and her family as “ the Olympics of oversharing,” Kim disagreed. “I’ve always just been open. I’ve been super-open with my life," she said. "And that’s just who I am, and that’s how my family is too.”
Kim said Instagram was her favourite app
Maybe the most surprising new fact about Kim to come for her talk was the star's undying love for Blackberries, especially the now discontinued 'Bold' model, which she continues to buy on Ebay.
"My BlackBerry is my heart and soul, I love it and I’ll never get rid of it. I do have an iPhone, and I use it for photos. But if you write an email and you need to type fast I like having the [key]board," she said.
Adding, "They don’t even have them in stores anymore. I buy them on eBay. It’s a BlackBerry Bold. And I like to have three in my room that I line up in case they break.” Well if anyone could resurrect the BlackBerry it probably is Kim Kardashian.
