Kim Kardashian West would love a third pregnancy.

The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star - who already has two-year-old daughter North with husband Kanye West and is expecting the couple's second child - is hoping to fall pregnant once again after giving birth to her son in December.

Kim - who has struggled to conceive in the past - said: ''I've always said if I had a boy, I would be done with a boy and a girl.

''But this pregnancy has been a little bit easier, but I won't really know until later on if I can have another one, it depends on my delivery, so hopefully I'll be able to have another one - I wouldn't mind it.''

The 34-year-old beauty went on to describe her second pregnancy as a ''miracle'' after undergoing months of fertility treatments.

She told MailOnline: ''It's definitely a different pregnancy. I really wanted to be pregnant, and it's the anticipation of trying.

''I feel that this is really a miracle because I didn't think it would happen for me because I had a tough delivery that created some complications.

''So I'm just really grateful to be pregnant, and we're just really happy that so far everything is really healthy, and we're just really excited.''

In the run up to the birth, the reality TV star has turned to her sister Kourtney Kardashian - who has kids Mason, five, Penelope, two, and six-month-old Reign with partner Scott Disick - for advice on how to help her young daughter adjust to life with a brother.

She said: ''I'm sure North will come to the hospital and meet him, that's what Kourtney did with her kids so I'll take advice from her.''

Kim added North is currently unaware she will be a big sister by Christmas.

She explained: ''I don't know if North really understands she's getting a baby brother yet.

''We read books at night with stories about big sisters, and baby brothers, families.''
