Kim Kardashian West was racially abused on a plane.
The 34-year-old reality star - who is expecting her second child, a son, with husband Kanye West - was travelling with daughter North, now two, when an unnamed woman said ''awful'' things to her but she decided against confronting her fellow passenger.
She said: ''I did have an awful experience on a plane once, she was slurring racial things at me. North was less than one so she didn't know.
''I was about to go over and say something then an Indian man stopped me and said it just isn't worth it.''
But the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star thinks her and her husband's ''open'' attitude will be ''really helpful'' with their children in understanding and accepting racial diversity.
Speaking to the San Francisco Commonwealth Club, she added: ''So I have experienced it but Kanye and I together are so open, he is so vocal about race, so I think we'll be really helpful for our children. We will talk to our children the way our dad spoke to us.
''He had lots of friends in bi-racial relationships and I think he knew I would be in an inter-racial relationship, he would tell me story after story. ''
While the 'All Day' rapper has been criticised for his frank opinions, Kim claims his honest attitude has helped her to be more confident.
She said: ''I love the way he creates, thinks, stands up for what he believes in whole-heartedly. He is such a good person.
''I have gotten a lot of my confidence from him, I used to care so much about what people thought of me. He has taught me to not care, he is such an honest person.''
And the brunette beauty wishes she could meet her mother-in-law, who died seven years ago.
Asked who she would most like to interview, dead or alive, she said: ''Donda West. I would just like to get to know her.''
