Kim Kardashian West has done a new nude photo shoot, as a way of combating her insecurities about her psoriasis.

The 34-year-old reality TV star decided to bare all for the photo shoot in the desert with just some white paint covering her modesty for her website, which she revealed is her way of sticking two fingers up at her dry skin condition which sometimes makes her reluctant to take her clothes off.

In an episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', Kim said: ''I have psoriasis, there is nothing I can do about it so there is no reason why I should feel uncomfortable. So to make myself feel better I lay out all my insecurities before we start a shoot in the hope that no one will be focused on that.

''I just want to do fun and artsy things. I want to capture really cool moments and have some great shoots and be nude and do all this cool stuff.''

Despite posing nude on several occasions, Kim has also admitted she ''cannot leave the house'' without Spanx because she feels insecure about her curvaceous figure.

Kim - who has 22-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - is so insecure about her recent weight gain, she can't bear to be seen without the special control underwear.

Speaking on 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', she said: ''Everybody thinks, 'She got her butt done and her hips done,' and all this stuff. I'm like, 'No, I'm legit 20 pounds heavier.'

''I'm so insecure lately. Seriously, just with my weight. I cannot leave the house without Spanx.''
