Kim Kardashian is said to have “zero desire to resume her old life,” following her Paris robbery ordeal on October 3rd.

The reality star has been mostly staying at her home in Los Angeles and focusing on her recovery for the past two weeks, having cancelled all public appearances and halted filming for ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’.

An insider told People magazine that Kim “is still having a difficult time” after being robbed at gunpoint, adding she has “zero desire to resume her old life.”

“Kim is still figuring out what she wants to do,” the insider continued. “She has no plans for any public appearances.”

Kim, who turns 36 on Friday, has also cancelled all birthday plans. “She just wants to be with her kids and out of public,” the source added.

“No one is pressuring her either. She has the best support from her family.”

Another source told the magazine that Kim has “only left her house for overnight visits with the kids to Kris' and for important appointments.”

“On every solo outing, she uses a bodyguard,” said the source. “Before the robbery, she would enjoy solo outings. This has totally changed now.”

“Kim’s whole life has basically changed,” the source added. “Before, she was like a social butterfly. Now she acts much more withdrawn.”

On Tuesday Kim’s mother Kris Jenner gave an update to E! News on how her daughter was coping.

"It's a process," Kris said. "One day at a time. It's a process.”

Kris added that she’s helping by "doing what a mother does" and having loved ones gather around Kim and making sure she feels safe at all times.
