Kim Kardashian Celebrates Upcoming Wedding With French Themed Bridal Shower

The pre-nup may be delaying the Kimye wedding but Kim Kardashian is already in white. The 33-year-old celebrated her upcoming wedding in Beverly Hills on Saturday (10th May) with a bridal shower to which she appeared in a figure hugging white dress complete with a string of pearls.

The entire Kardashian ‘klan’ were out in force for the celebration including Kris, Kylie and Kendall Jenner. Kardashian’s friends and family arrived at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills to celebrate the forthcoming Kimye wedding with a French themed party in the Verandah room, according to reports in Us Weekly.

A mini chocolate Eiffel Tower on each guest’s plate greeted them when arrived at their tables and they were treated to a feast of bagels, brioche French toast, smoked bacon, chicken gyros, country pork sausage patties and white chocolate cake. The guests were provided with mementos of the party including a clear picture frame with photographs taken in a special photo booth set up in the room.

Kardashian and her sister Khloe shared pictures from the day on their Instagram accounts. Posing amidst their friends, including singer Ciara, Kardashian looked happy with her hair loose and tousled. Of course, she still managed a few pouts for the camera!

The wedding will take place at the end of this month, according to TMZ. Reports on the same website suggest the couple may sign the agreement within the next week. The specific details of the wedding are still not known, although we are aware it will take place in Paris. The wedding invitations have already been sent and Us Weekly managed to get a sneak preview.

The rather understated invitations have been printed on neutral coloured card and have simple gold writing announcing the ceremony will take place on 24th May 2014. The invite reads: "The honour of your presence is requested at the marriage of Kim Kardashian to Kanye West.” The invitation promises to supply details upon arrival but does mention there will be a cocktail party on the eve of the wedding.
