Kevin Nash is to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The 55-year-old professional wrestler is to be honoured for his successful 25-year sports and entertainment career, which saw him win a total of 21 championships between WWE, WCW and TNA, including being a six-time world champion.
Speaking to the RollingStone magazine, he said: ''I've been called just about everything, but this is the first time I'll be called a Hall of Famer. It's nice. It's been a long 25 years, but this business has been great to me. Without wrestling, there's no way I'd be where I am today. I'd probably own a strip club someplace.''
He added: ''I'm normally not a guy who lets the past define him, but it's kind of mind-blowing to look back on it; all the people that have helped me along the way, friends and mentors ... It's really special, and like Frank Sinatra, I did it my way.''
Throughout his long-running career, Kevin has undergone a number of name changes, including Steel, Oz and Vinnie Vegas, before hitting the jackpot as Diesel in WWE.
He then jumped to a rival company, WCW, where he, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan formed one of the most important stables in the history of wrestling, the New World Order, which is credited with being responsible for major changes in how wrestling and sports entertainment TV was made.
Kevin wants to enter the WWE Hall of Fame under his real name, rather than his stage moniker, and will be the last member of the Class of 2015 to join 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, Women's Champion Alundra Blayze, 'Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko, Japanese icon Tatsumi Fujinami and celebrity honouree Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday March 28, the day before 'WrestleMania 31' is held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
