Kendra Wilkinson Baskett says her husband is having ''a lot of therapy''.

The 'Kendra On Top' star was left devastated when a transsexual woman claimed to have had an affair with Hank Baskett - the father of her children Hank Jr., four, and four-month-old Alijah - earlier this summer and she admits their marriage was in trouble long before the allegations were made.

Asked when their relationship started to become rocky, she said: ''He was going through a lot of stuff that nobody knows about and he was trying to talk to me about it and I would not deal with it,'' she said, looking back on when their relationship started to become rocky.

''He was very lost. Very, very lost and I wish I would have had it in my heart to slow down a little bit and listen... right now, he's in a lot of therapy... and figuring out a way to explain everything. I don't get it.''

While Hank is insistent the infidelity claims are false, Kendra admits ''some of it is true'' and she is still unsure about the future of their relationship.

She added: ''In my eyes, life is too short and this man who I loved for six years - I believe he deserves... a second chance, if he did make a mistake.

''And right now I'm working that out. I'm working on what happened and if this was a mistake, which I believe, I'm starting to believe it was.

''If I believe that Hank had an affair on me, the divorce would have gone through already. I'm holding on to any hope I have.''

And the 29-year-old beauty went on to praise the sportsman as a ''perfect guy''.

She told 'Access Hollywood': ''At the end of the day, he comes from an amazing place and amazing background. He's a perfect guy and he's never done me wrong, he's not like some douchebag. He's not a douchebag.

''He's never treated me wrong, so if he was, I wouldn't be with him right now.

''He is an amazing father.''
