Kendall Jenner had ''major fashion fails'' as a child.

The 19-year-old model has become a fixture of catwalks around the world in recent months, but she admitted she hasn't always been as stylish as she is nowadays because her mother, Kris Jenner, used to dress her and her younger sister Kylie Jenner, 17, in embarrassing matching outfits when they were kids.

She said: ''Yeah, my biggest fashion regret is when we were little our mom used to dress us in matching clothes, so we definitely have some major fashion fails from childhood.''

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star's sibling, Kylie, added to her comments by saying she also giggles when she looks back at the clothes they were made to wear, because they were so wacky.

Speaking to US site WhoWhatWear, she said: ''We try not to overthink what we're wearing and don't have any MAJOR fashion regrets -- yet! But when we look back at old pictures, we can't help but laugh at some of our outfits. (sic)''

Meanwhile, Kylie recently revealed the pair actively refused fashion tips from their half sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian while designing their range of clothes which is exclusively available at Topshop, because they wanted the collection to be ''really authentic''.

Kylie said: ''We actually don't want their opinion. We want it to be all us and really authentic. And just from us.

''It's cool to have two different opinions in the one because some of our fans might be obsessed with my style and some might be obsessed with Kendall's. So it's cool that we both had this collaboration together.''
