The former 'American Idol' winner gave birth to her son, Remington Alexander Blackstock, on Tuesday.
Kelly Clarkson has become a mother for the second time, announcing that she and her husband Brandon Blackstock have welcomed their son, named Remington Alexander, into the world.
The pop singer announced via Twitter on Thursday (April 14th) that she had given birth to her son two days previously. “Our little baby boy has arrived!!. Remington Alexander Blackstock was born 4/12/16 & he is healthy & we couldn't be happier or more in love!”
Their son is a younger sibling for their one year old daughter River Rose, who was born back in June 2014. The 33 year old former ‘American Idol’ winner first announced her pregnancy on-stage during a gig in Los Angeles last October, taking everybody – including her talent manager husband Blackstock – by surprise.
“This is not how I wanted to announce [that I'm pregnant]. My makeup artist is backstage hating me. I didn't want you to think I'm on pills or something. “I would like to apologize to my husband. This was not planned. I'm just so hormonal. Everything is great, I haven't vomited yet. That's a win y'all.”

That was a reference to her difficult struggle throughout her first pregnancy. She told Ellen DeGeneres back in late 2013 that she vomited “a good dozen times a day”. This time around, she told CBS’ ‘This Morning’ show that she was fully prepared for the dehydration having stocked up with “IVs and fluids”.

However, according to Clarkson at least, this is definitely the last child they’re having. “Oh, no, we are done. Oh good Lord, yes, I can't be pregnant again. This will be our number four total, so we're good… Honestly, the first one was really rough, and I was like, 'Oh, it can't happen again,' and no it happened, like, way worse this time.”
