Karl Urban's Judge Dredd revamp has been given a big boost in Britain - the all-action sci-fi blockbuster has rocketed to the top of the box office.
The film has become the first 18 certificate movie to hit number one in British cinemas since 2010 - and it beat out Keira Knightley's Anna Karenina, Lawless and Total Recall to get there.
The new Judge Dredd was the only film to break $1 million (Gbp625,000) at the U.K. box office last week.
The film is released in the U.S. later this month (Sep12).
