Fact: Empire star Jussie Smollett is a new uncle - his actress sister Jurnee Smollett-Bell has given birth. Little Hunter Zion Bell made his debut on Instagram on Tuesday (15Nov16) as his proud mum showed him off, adding the caption: "Hunter Zion Bell. So in love with our little man."

Fact: Actress Candace Cameron-Bure's mother Barbara helped to put Empire star Jussie Smollett on the path to fame as a kid after serving as his first Hollywood talent agent. "(She) got me The Mighty Ducks and Little Piece of Heaven and Queen, and all that," he recalls. Smollett's younger sister, Jurnee, also starred alongside Cameron-Bure on Full House in the early 1990s.

Fact: Actress Gabourey Sidibe made a surprise appearance at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday (16Aug15) by joining her EMPIRE co-stars Jussie Smollett and BRYSHERE GRAY as a back-up dancer during their performance of You're So Beautiful. Smollett previously revealed he co-wrote the song with "Gabby on the brain", telling MTV News that the actress is "confident and sexy and beautiful, but every once in a while, you need to hear the words you're so beautiful."
