Fact: Jazz singer/actor Jon Batiste is heading to TV as the bandleader for U.S. comedian STEPHEN COLBERT's new version of THE LATE SHOW. The star, who performs in the group Stay Human, will be in charge of the music when The Late Show With Stephen Colbert premieres in September (15). David Letterman stepped down as the host of the longrunning talk show last month (May15) after more than three decades on air.
