Springer will report on the run -up to the election beginning in February and then present live coverage from Washington in November. Springer’s coverage will see him bringing insight and analysis on the presidential race and in a series of short films he will talk to Americans about who they’ll be voting for. He’ll also be on hand to review each candidate’s televised debates.

“I'm excited about joining 'Good Morning Britain' in bringing stateside coverage of this year's American Election, which so far is looking more outrageous than the chaos normally seen on my television show,” Springer said.
