Jay Reatard/Lindsay hails from Memphis, has made more music in the last decade than any artist has a right to and wrote in his blog at the end of April that he was "quitting music". Always Wanting More would appear to prove that he's changed his mind, but contrary to some reports this is a very good thing.
Splicing diaphanous lo-fi indie with buzzsaw garage riffage, the result is two minutes of sub-surf lunacy that is as gloriously ramshackle as it's utterly disposable. It's pop Jim, but not as we know it.
