Fact: New James Bond movie Spectre has become the second most-successful film in the franchise's history. Daniel Craig's fourth outing as the suave superspy has grossed $750 million (£469 million) to date, since its release last month (Nov15), but its total box office takings is expected to fall short of the hugely popular Skyfall, which smashed records in 2012 when it became the only 007 movie to crack the $1 billion mark around the world. Expert analysts predict Spectre will bow out with between $850 million (£531 million) and $870 million (£544 million).

Wilson have picked up the movie rights to journalist Glenn Greenwald's new book, No Place to Hide: Edward Snowden, the N.S.A. and the U.S. Surveillance State, which will detail the former National Security Agency contractor's efforts to evade prosecution by U.S. authorities by hiding out in Russia.
