McFly drummer Harry Judd made reference to new wife Izzy Johnston's favourite 'Winnie-the-Pooh' stories in his wedding speech.
Harry Judd quoted 'Winnie-the-Pooh' in his wedding speech.
The classic children's stories by AA Milne are a favourite of his new wife Izzy Johnston - who also named the tables at their wedding after characters from the tales - and so the McFly drummer made sure to make reference to them when giving his groom's address at the reception following their nuptials last month.
He said: ''If you live to 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus one day so I never have to live without you.''
He then added: ''I love you so much and can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.''
Izzy had the words ''You had me at hello sweetheart'' - a reference to a romantic line from Tom Cruise film 'Jerry Maguire' - sewn into Harry's waistcoat as a surprise, while the couple's four-tier wedding cake referenced how they first met when the brunette beauty was part of a classical ensemble on McFly's 'Wonderland' tour in 2005.
Izzy explained to HELLO! magazine: ''Because we met on the 'Wonderland' tour, we had the lyrics from the McFly song 'Lies' - 'Back in Wonderland like it was yesterday' on the bottom.''
In December 2011, Harry was crowned winner of UK TV show 'Strictly Come Dancing' and he and Izzy made sure their first dance was a performance capable of matching those he gave on the programme.
They spent nine hours working with 'Strictly' professional and choreographer Ian Waite, plus they had an additional two hours practice of their American Smooth alone.
Izzy said: ''The night before the wedding, I didn't sleep because I was going through the steps in my head.''
However, she enjoyed their performance to Michael Buble's 'Can't Help Falling In Love'.
She said: ''I loved it. It was amazing, spinning around and seeing all your friends, but I was so dizzy.''
