Congratulations to Harry Judd and his new fiancee Izzy Johnston after the couple announced that they were engaged to be married, spreading the news over social networking site Twitter. Judd of course first found fame as drummer for British pop-rock group McFly, but has since managed to sustain fame in his own right thanks to winning those most noble of shows - a celebrity talent contest. Judd won 'Strictly Come Dancing' last year on the Bbc and it's perhaps fitting that his new fiancee also ties to a reality show; Johnston is a violinist in 'Britain's Got Talent' group Escala.
Taking to Twitter, Judd referenced the hotel where he proposed when writing "Couldn't be happier! My beautiful izzyeyesalight and I are engaged! Thank you to rendezvoushotel for making it so special! xxx." Johnstone herself was on Twitter too to confirm the news, adding "So happy! My gorgeous mcflyharry and I got engaged on the beach by candlelit dinner. I'm the luckiest girl to be marrying my best friend xx."
The plaudits came in thick and fast, with Judd's former 'Strictly.' dancing partner Aliona Vilani writing "Congratulations guys!!!! That's amazing Very happy for you!!!!.... Finally hehe XX." She cheekily followed up with, "Now is it time to talk about that special wedding dance we talked about ?! XX." Judd's fellow contestant and former footballer Robbie Savage, meanwhile, wrote, "Congratulations pal xx," and also teased "About time to x."
