Grace Jones hasn't yet been able to connect with fellow singer Lady GaGa and on meeting her on three occasions, she found she had no ''soul''.
Grace Jones has slammed Lady GaGa for having no ''soul''.
The 67-year-old singer has been in the company of the 'Born This Way' hitmaker three times before but has never been able to connect deeply with her.
She admitted: ''Gaga came to me, and I just could not find a soul. I come from church -- maybe that has something to do with it. I like to get to the soul of a person. I just didn't feel a soul.''
However, the 'Slave to the Rhythm' singer doesn't think the 29-year-old star is soulless but may have just been ''freaked out'' in her presence.
She told Bevy Smith on SiriusXM's Bevelations: ''She might have been freaked out with meeting me. This happened. It's OK.''
But Grace was left unimpressed again when she met Gaga again through designer Philip Treacy, accusing her of ripping off her style for her own stage shows.
She added: ''Then we met three times after, through [Philip] Treacy and, boy, I got so angry.
''I know Philip needed to make some money, but you know what, can you just wait until I finish my tour before you repeat what we are working on?''
