Actor Gerard Depardieu Is Reportedly In Talks To Star In A Political Drama On Internet Streaming Service Netflix.
The Cyrano de Bergerac star is poised to appear in Marseille, playing the Southern French city's mayor for the past 25 years, according to Variety.
The programme will be Netflix's first French-language production, and is reportedly similar in theme to the company's other hit series, House of Cards, starring Kevin Spacey.
The eight-episode series is created and written by Carlos screenwriter Dan Franck.
