The 'A-Team' is set to get a reboot - and will include women.
The hit 80s TV show, which ran from 1983 to 1987, is being remade by 20th Century Fox but rather than just featuring men in the mercenary team, like the original series, ladies are also being woven into the plot this time round, according to Deadline.com.
The popular programme revolved around a diverse team of American Special Forces operatives who are on the run for a crime they didn't commit, while trying to demolish the organisation that set them up for the prison sentence.
Actors George Peppard, Dirk Benedict, Dwight Schultz and Mr. T starred as John 'Hannibal' Smith, Templeton 'Faceman' Peck, H.M 'Howling Mad' Murdock and 'B.A Bad Attitude' Baracus, a US Special Forces Unit court-martialed ''for a crime they didn't commit'' in the action series, created by Stephen J. Cannell.
It is not yet known who will be cast in the roles in the reboot as of yet.
Chris Morgan - known for his work as the writer-and-producer on the 'Fast & Furious' franchise - has come on board to produce the remake alongside Tawnia McKiernan, who is the daughter of Cannell, while Albert Kim will pen the script for the film corporation.
A movie adaptation - starring Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper - was also released in 2010 under the same name.
