Erick Morillo - feat. Audio Bullys - Break Down The Doors - Single Review

‘Break Down The Doors’ features the Audio Bullys who are an eclectic hip hop outfit. It was Morillo’s intention to make a hard hitting track that could make dance music ‘credible, dirty and tough but with proper songs.’ This track is certainly a fine feat in my eyes. It’s solid dance music and the mixes are excellent. There’s trance, house and a definite edge to the music that is captivating and energising. There’s real depth the tunes that hit the mind, body and soul. It’s too easy to hear easily digestible dance music as ‘Break Down The Doors’ really shows people how it’s done. The tracks are epic with loads going on, from sequencer sounds to intense samples and a serious bass groove that creates an oozing sexiness to the music.

‘Break Down The Doors’ is a serious track that reminds you of the good old days of dance music when it was solid, real and truly progressive. The appearance of the Audio Bullys was a smart move and it proves why Mr Morillo has such a fine reputation.
